Job Summary:

Serves as a focal point for the company's international trade and compliance activities to the corporate office and business unit groups, located in the U.S and internationally, as well as the U.S. and non-U.S. governments. Focus is placed on anti-corruption compliance administration matters, performing due diligence on third parties, including document analysis and research, management of compliance data and associated reporting, compliance program recordkeeping, and the management of compliance resources. This includes close coordination with business unit anti-corruption professionals and the Corporate Legal Department. The Corporate International Trade and Compliance Department provides risk management analysis, strategic guidance, insights into regulatory requirements, policy oversight, and training, and serves as a data resource to the corporation to facilitate compliance with international trade laws and regulations (including anti-corruption laws and regulations and those governing sales intermediaries, exports, imports, and offsets).

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for business units with respect to compliance matters and the administration of Third-Party Management procedures including review of business unit approval requests to ensure the information provided is consistent with policy requirements, appraise records for discrepancies and concerns, and coordinate with the Staff Director to resolve issues that arise in the review/approval process
  • Support third-party due diligence efforts including performing research and document analysis, provision of resources and information to the business units, and engaging with external vendors to manage due diligence resources and systems.
  • Manage compliance recordkeeping requirements including records and tracking of program and policy requirements to support ongoing program and risk assessment efforts as well as compliance audits.
  • Support planning and organization of quarterly calls, workshops, and virtual and in-person conferences.
  • Manage data collection, verification, and reconciliation of data regarding international sales intermediaries, foreign supply chain spends, offsets, and training for purposes of reporting, developing metrics, and identifying trends.
  • Support and assist in document and record preparation including procedural templates, training and communications resources, and reports such as internal reports to senior management, Business Units, and auditors, as well as reports to U.S. and non-U.S. governments.
  • Support management, user support, and optimization of current IT systems and automated tools including the Third-Party Management System and an offset collaboration system.
  • Manage and maintain compliance memberships, subscriptions, and web-based portals and associated data as required.
  • Administer compliance surveys and assess related data.
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform essential functions of the role

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience with compliance operations
  • Experience with data management and analysis
  • Ability to work in and out of various IT systems
  • High proficiency using Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel (including V-lookups and pivot tables)
  • Proficiency with data analytics or data visualization tools a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to travel to the U.S. and foreign locations.
  • Must possess excellent research, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships in support of collaboration and service.
  • Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and produce quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Must be willing to work in the CHQ office Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
  • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated by start date, unless medical or religious exceptions apply prior to starting of the internship.
