As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Senior Financial Analyst for our Corporate Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Supply Chain, you will act as the main point of contact for all B/E Aerospace sites regarding company transportation and logistics matters including, carrier agreements, customs bonds, freight insurance, carrier rates, surcharges and service issues. You will also be responsible for consolidating the company’s concerns and applying corporate leverage in gaining solutions from our transportation providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages transportation network, carrier relationships and carrier selection process.
• Responsible for leadership and execution of the B/E Transportation Management System
• Manages third party freight payment/audit company
• Works with Global Trade Manager to execute supply chain strategies
• Leads global/national carrier agreements and pricing negotiations.
• Recommends process improvements based on report data; performs root cause analyses.
• Leads transportation insurance agreements and pricing negotiations.
• Develops strong relationships with transportation, operations, purchasing and finance departments to ensure that company delivery standards are developed, measured and met.
• Monitors, measures and documents transportation key performance indicators.
• Conducts semi-annual carrier performance meetings.
• Allocates and tracks transportation budgets and expenses.
• Evaluates site level compliance to corporate policy.
• Responsible for various other indirect duties as assigned by the Vice president, Corporate Supply Chain (i.e. Packaging agreement)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Logistics Management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five-to-eight years related experience and/or training
