Export Control Lead BAER (Business Area Export Rep)

We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Job Responsibilities include:

1. Manage export compliance for the HS Power Systems (HSPS)organization, including compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
2. Support all customer requests, including approval of export classification requests, obtaining Technical Assistance Agreements/Manufacturing Licensing Agreements and related hardware licenses.
3. Lead export control jurisdiction and classification for parts working with expertise from engineering and operations.
4. Establish/improve standard work to ensure that import/export regulations are fully considered in all critical functions throughout HSPS.
5. Conduct export compliance training and answer day-to day export compliance questions.
6. Conduct audits and lead RRC/CA for all non compliances. Ensure potential violations are identified, investigated and disclosed as required; implement corrective actions, keep top-level management apprised of all significant open matters.
7. Coordinate efforts with Import/Export Control & Management (IECM) and other Lead BAER working groups to improve compliance programs throughout HS.
8. Lead the part time BAER network for AMS; provide support through regular meetings and communication of critical needs.

Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Advaned degree a plus.

1. In depth knowledge of HS products and organization
2. Proficient ability for details as well as ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
3. Excellent time management and organization skills.
4. Proven effective utilization of ACE tools to drive process improvement.
5. Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and a "team player".
6. Strong leadership skills to effectively work with key stakeholders and other lead BAER working groups.
