Trade Compliance Manager- 5487

Full Relocation package available
Location: Charlotte, NC
Reports to: Director of Compliance


  • Manage the import/export compliance program for the Americas
  • Responsible for a staff of up to 4
  • Implement process improvements within the program as necessary
  • SME for all business units regarding import/export compliance
  • Responsible for strategic development, training, monitoring, policy implementation, KPI’s, etc.


  • BA Degree- Required
  • Licensed Broker- helpful, not mandatory
  • Experience managing a comprehensive trade compliance program (import and export) for a large manufacturer with multiple brands and business units
  • Regulations knowledge: Department of Commerce/Bureau of Industry
  • Regulations knowledge: U.S. Department State (ITAR)
  • Ability to classify ECCN and HTS
  • License Determination
  • Use of License exceptions
  • Apply for licenses
  • Apply for CCATS rulings
  • Knowledge of technology, software, and encryption controls for export purposes
  • Emphasis on U.S., EU, and Singapore export controls
