Customs Compliance Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA area
Client: A leader in the field of consumer products

Summary:

This role will be responsible to oversee internal business units (Global) in Customs laws/regulations. Great new opportunity to work for a company with a heart! Responsibilities:

• Experience managing a corporate global customs compliance program
• Serve as subject matter expert on all areas of trade compliance – to include C-TPAT & ISA
• Participate in team development and management of trade compliance policies and procedures
• Advise company on transfer pricing, valuation, origin, marking and classification of products
• Manage compliance training to company employees and associates on import compliance

Qualifications:

• Experience managing a corporate customs compliance program
• Experience consulting in an International environment – preferably manufacturing industry
• Maquiladora experience required
• Finance oriented – must be excellent with numbers!
• Bachelor’s degree required
